Welcome to our web site!
We are a NMRA- Charter member.
Organization: Prairieland Frontiersmen, INC. is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation organized in 1975.
The club is managed by a board of directors consisting of nine directors elected annually at large from the general
,membership in October of each year. The club's fiscal year is from October 1st to September 30th of the following year.
At present, there are about 160 paying members in the club. The club is not strictly a primative Club, as buckskinners
and "blue jean" shooters are about equally represented.
Dues: The "dues" year is from October 1st - September 30th of the following year. Annual dues for a single
person are $30.00 amd for a family membership including spouse and minor children (under 18) are $35.00 per year.

miles East of the intersection of Illinois RT #32 and the Bruce - Findlay crossroads. The Bruce - Findlay crossroads
are located 5 miles south of Sullivan on Illinois RT #32. Look for our sign and the range shack on the North side of
the road. The range includes a range shack for storage of targets and supplies, latrines, a 25-yd., 50-yd., 100-yd.
range, a Trap range and a Skeet range. It includes a "woodswalk" with primative silhoutte targets at varying distances
in the woods east of the main range. There are also knife and hawk blocks available, and a knife and hawk woodswalk.
A primative bow shoot is also offered at the monthly shoots. The Club owns the land upon which the range is located,
and a log cabin type of club house has been completed next to the range. The range is partially covered, and will
be completely covered in the near future. A parking area west of the road into the range has been leased.
Scheduled shoots: Members may use the range facilities and camp at the range at any time subject to common
sense and consideration for farmers in adjacent fields. A regularly sheduled shoot is held on the second Sunday of each
month beginning at 9:00a.m., and usually ending about 1:30 p.m.
Matches and entry Fees: At each monthly shoot the following matches are offered, subject to the interest
of those present: Rifle match, Primitive match, Pistol match, Shotgun match (tap and skeet), Tradegun match, Ladies rifle
and woodswalk matches and Junior rifle and woodswalk matches. Knife and Hawk matches, as well as traditional bow matches
are also held. Entry fees for each match are $2.00, except shotgun, which is $2.50. If at least 6 people

At the annual membership meeting in October, Aggregate trophy prizes are awarded.
Rendezous and special shoots: A 3-day primative rendevous is held usualy the last full weekend of April
of each year. This is the Club's "big event" and everyone is encouraged to particapate. In addition, the
October and February shoots are 2-day shoots and include camping out at the range if you so desire. These are good times
with a special shoot on the woodswalk. We also sponser and hold each year on the fourth weekend in March a historic
Arms and Craft Show in Teutopolis, Illinois, to include pre-1898 reproductions and fur trade and colonial era crafts.
